Determination of formaldehyde in textile dye and auxiliary chemicals with headspace gas chromatography-flame ionization detector

چکیده

Formaldehyde is a chemical used in many different industrial sectors and classified as carcinogen well causing allergic reactions. Due to the health effects of formaldehyde, which widely textile dyes auxiliary chemicals, its analysis this type matrices becomes important. In study, order meet these requirements, formaldehyde was converted oxime derivative by derivatization with o-(2,3,4,5,6-Pentafluorobenzyl)hydroxylamine hydrochloride. This successfully sampled headspace technique analyzed gas chromatography-flame ionization detector (GC-FID). For developed method, salt effect parameters were investigated. limit detection (LOD) found 0.05 mg L-1 real sample analyzes made for types industry, sodium naphthalene sulfoxylate formaldehyde. addition, method validated against ISO 14184-1 applying student t-, F- tests no difference terms accuracy precision. Thus, applicability chemicals industry demonstrated. allows all quality control processes be handled using only one method.
